Launchpad is an app launcher in Mac OS X Lion which enables users to launch an app with a single click of mouse. Initially, the Launchpad screen is populated with the computer programs listed in the “Applications” folder in Mac OS X. The user may then remove apps downloaded from the Mac App Store.
To get this feature in Windows, “xwidgetsoft” at deviantART has created a tool named “XLaunchpad” similar to Launchpad in Mac OS X Lion. There is no need of any installations for XLaunchpad. You can just extract the RAR file and open the tool to use it. You can also carry it using any means of storage i.e its portable.

When you open the tool, it will show icons similar to Launchpad of Mac OS X Lion in your Desktop.
If you click at the desktop or at the taskbar, the icons will disappear. To make it show once again press F12 or you can simply click at the icon present in the system tray.
You can also add your desired file or folder by right clicking and selecting Add or you can simply drag n drop. Another great feature of XLaunchpad is that you can also customize number of icons to show per row, number of rows to show per page, distance between rows, size of icons, margins and much more. You can change all these things using its Settings. It also consumes a very little system memory.
It works on almost all versions of Windows.
