1. Click Start.
2. Inthe Search field,type regedit and press Enter.
3. Locate the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ Explorer
4. Right-click the left pane and from the menu select: New – DWord (32-bit) Value. Name it DisallowRun and give as value data 1 (you have to right click it to do this).
5. Click OK.
6. On the left pane (where all the registry-keys are), right click the Explorer key and from the menu select: New – Key . Name it DisallowRun. In this new key, right-click the right-pane and from the menu select New – String Value. Name it RestrictKey.
7. Now, right-click Restrictkey and from the menu select Modify. A small dialog-box will appear. In its value data field, write the name of the program you want to block (ex: Nero.exe).
8. Restart your commpuer for the changes to take effect.
